Watch Elijah Wood in a 'Wilfred' Season 1 DVD deleted scene

"Wilfred" is heading back to FX on June 28 for the start of Season 2. Why not prepare for another round of misadventures with Elijah Wood and his dog/human hybrid BFF, Wilfred (Jason Gann) with Season 1, which hits stores on DVD and Blu-ray June 19?

Zap2it has an exclusive look at a deleted scene from Episode 9, "Compassion." The episode sees Ryan's mother, who has spent 20 years in a sanitarium for mental wellness, decide she feels ready to leave and move in with Ryan. In the clip below, see Ryan talk to his mother's doctor about bringing her home.

"Wilfred" returns to FX for a special preview episode at 10 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, and then settles in for its regular season every Thursday at 10 on June 28. "Wilfred" Season 1 is available on Blu-ray and DVD from 20th Century Fox Home Video starting June 19.
