'Up All Night' cast grows: Who should play Christina Applegate's brother?

NBC is growing its "Up All Night" cast for Season 2. Producers are looking for a new series regular to join the show full-time as Sam, the younger brother of Christina Applegate's character, Reagan.

Sam is a newly divorced dad to a five-year-old son -- and let's just say that his parenting style doesn't exactly jive with Reagan's. When he starts spending more time with Reagan, Chris (Will Arnett), and Amy, Reagan can't help but worry that his laid-back attitude -- yay, junk food! -- will be a bad influence on Amy.

A successful contractor, Sam is something of an artist when it comes to his craftmanship -- but unfortunately, he is much better at using tools than he is at using his brain. Executive producer Emily Spivey is looking to cast a 30- to 33-year-old "man's man" to play the role.
