'Unforgettable' lives again: Season 2 officially a go at CBS
CBS has un-canceled "Unforgettable."The crime drama, which the network axed at the end of last season, has completed a turnaround that will see it return for a second season in the summer of 2013. CBS has ordered 13 episodes, Deadline reports.
The show, which stars Poppy Montgomery as a police consultant with a near-perfect memory, was one of the most-watched shows to be canceled at the end of the 2011-12 season. It averaged 12.1 million viewers and a 2.5 rating among adults 18-49.
After the cancellation, reports started circulating that Lifetime and TNT were interested in reviving "Unforgettable." Producer Sony Pictures TV started talking with CBS about a second season about the same time.
Season 1 of "Unforgettable" also starred Dylan Walsh, Kevin Rankin, Daya Vaidya, Michael Gaston and Jane Curtin. There's no word on whether all the regular will return.
