TV ratings: Tony Awards down for CBS Sunday, ABC reality shows lead demo

CBS' broadcast of the Tony Awards didn't live up to last year's ratings, even though the show didn't have to compete with the NBA Finals this time around. It was a pretty quiet night all around on the broadcast networks, in fact, particularly in the adults 18-49 demographic. ABC's "Secret Millionaire" and "Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition" grabbed the top demo numbers for the night.

CBS did lead Sunday in viewers, averaging 6.5 million and a 4.2 rating/7 share in households. NBC (5.3 million, 3.4/6) came in second, beating out ABC's 4.9 million viewers and 3.1/5. A night of reruns on FOX averaged 2.75 million viewers and a 1.6/3.

ABC topped the 18-49 rankings, albeit with a scant 1.4 rating. NBC, 1.3, and FOX, 1.2, were close behind, and CBS brought up the rear at 1.0.
