TV ratings: 'America's Got Talent' leads NBC past Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee concert

The Diamond Jubilee for Queen Elizabeth II was no match for "America's Got Talent." The talent competition helped lead NBC to win the night in both total viewers and among adults 18-49.

FOX also scored big with its cooking show line-up. The season premiere of "Hell's Kitchen" followed by "MasterChef" gave the network a nice boost in the 18-49 demo. As for the QE2 special concert, the musicfest drew stronger ratings as the night progressed.

NBC led the evening with 7.4 million and a 4.5 rating/7 share in households. CBS came in second with 7.2 million, 4.8/8. ABC landed in third place with 5.6 million viewers and a 3.7/6. FOX (4.8 million, 2.8/5) came in fourth. The CW trailed with 735,000 viewers and a 0.5/1.

NBC led the 18-49 demo with a 2.2. FOX closely followed with a 2.1. ABC and CBS tied for third with a 1.2. The CW brought up the rear with a 0.3.
