'Scandal' Season 2: Henry Ian Cusick out and Joshua Malina becomes series regular

henry-ian-cusick-scandal-abc.jpgLooks like former "Lost" star Henry Ian Cusick will be "Scandal"-less when the ABC series returns for Season 2.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Cusick and showrunner Shonda Rhimes jointly decided he should leave the political drama in what's described as an amicable split.

Cusick's departure is just the latest dismissal from one of Rhimes' shows, following Tim Daly being fired from "Private Practice" and Chyler Leigh and Kim Raver leaving "Grey's Anatomy."

Meanwhile, recurring "Scandal" actor Joshua Malina, who plays U.S. Attorney David Rosen, has been bumped up to series regular.

What do you think this means for Season 2 story lines?
