'Liz & Dick' first look: Lindsay Lohan takes on Elizabeth Taylor

For those wondering what Lindsay Lohan will look like as one of the most iconic actors of all time, your day has come.

Lifetime has released the first official photo from "Liz & Dick," the made-for-TV movie in which Lohan plays Elizabeth Taylor. She will star alongside "True Blood's" Grant Bowler. He will play Taylor's long-time love Richard Burton. The film will focus on the tumultuous relationship between the famed Hollywood couple.

The black and white photo portrays the two in happier times. Lohan's longer, auburn mane has been replaced by short black hair. A noticeable beauty mark sits on her right cheek.

The oft-troubled Lohan is attempting to restart her stalled career with the film. When she accepted the job, she explained how much she looked up to the Oscar-winning actress.

Lohan says in a statement, "I have always admired and had enormous respect for Elizabeth Taylor. She was not only an incredible actress but an amazing woman as well."

As for Bowler, his hire was lauded by the film's EP Larry Thompson. He tells Deadline, "Grant will add gravitas to our couple and bring to life one of the greatest actors who has ever lived."
