'Arrow' extended preview: This Oliver Queen is far darker than his 'Smallville' counterpart

The CW has just released an extended preview of their highly anticipated series "Arrow." Don't be fooled by the name. This Green Arrow (Stephen Amell) is way darker than the one you remember from "Smallville."

He's been on an island alone for five years and something happened to him there that changed him forever. It also did something pretty fantastic to his abs as seen in the picture above. How are those even real?
