'Two and a Half Men': Ashton Kutcher close to finalizing one-year deal

new-two-and-a-half-men-cbs.jpgIt looks like the boys are getting back together for one more try.

The haggling is all but done and Ashton Kutcher, Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones are apparently moments away from signing on for Season 10 of "Two and a Half Men." Deadline is reporting that Kutcher's salary will be in the $700,000 per episode range, with Cryer coming in at slightly less. Jones will bring home $300,000 per show.

Kutcher's return was an item of some concern. While he'd indicated he was satisfied working on the show, Kutcher initially signed a one-year deal after Charlie Sheen was fired. And with no shortage of opportunities for Kutcher, anything was possible.

Kutcher's addition has been good for the comedy. For the 2011-12 season, "Men" is averaging nearly 15.3 million viewers. This makes the program the 11th highest-rated show and the second-best comedy, only trailing "The Big Bang Theory."
