TV ratings: 'The Voice' rises Monday, 'Castle' season finale up for ABC
Fast National ratings for Monday, May 7, 2012"The Voice" got a ratings bump Monday with its last performance show of the season, leading NBC to victory among adults 18-49 for the night. The season finale of "Castle" also saw its numbers rise, but "2 Broke Girls" ended its season a little on the low side.
Elsewhere, "Smash" improved a little on last week, but "Gossip Girl" had a rough night, failing to break a million viewers by Nielsen's accounting.
ABC led the total-viewer count Monday with 14.85 million and a 9.6 rating/15 share in households. CBS (9.6 million, 6.0/9) finished second, a little ahead of NBC (9 million, 5.5/9). FOX averaged 6.5 million viewers and a 3.9/6 to take fourth. The CW trailed with 1.1 million viewers and a 0.8/1.
NBC snagged the top spot among adults 18-49 with a 3.1 rating. CBS finished second at 2.9. ABC's 2.6 was good for third, while FOX averaged 2.0 and The CW 0.5.
