Both "The Voice" and "Dancing With the Stars" took a hit in the ratings Monday, with each falling to its lowest 18-49 numbers of the season. CBS' comedy lineup benefited a little from the slump as "How I Met Your Mother," "2 Broke Girls" and "Mike & Molly" all ticked up from their most recent original episodes, and "Two and a Half Men" was even.

On the bright side for ABC, "Castle" improved on its last new episode. FOX's dramas were down slightly, but The CW's "Gossip Girl" and "Hart of Dixie" went up a bit.

ABC carried the night in total viewers, averaging 14.35 million and a 9.4 rating/14 share in households. CBS (10 million, 6.2/10) finished second, beating out NBC's 8.1 million viewers and 4.9/8. FOX (6.8 million, 4.3/7) came in fourth, and The CW (1.2 million, 0.9/1) was well off the pace.

For the first time in a number of weeks, NBC was not the leader in adults 18-49. That honor went to CBS, whose 3.1 rating edged out NBC's 2.9. ABC came in third at 2.6. FOX drew a 2.0 in the demographic and The CW a 0.6.
