Tia Mowry leaving BET's 'The Game'

After six years starring in the popular BET series "The Game," Tia Mowry is moving on. In a new Twitter message, the actress confirms that she won't be returning for the show's next season.

"Just wanted to let all my fans know that I will not be returning to The Game for season 6. It was an incredible run and I had lots of fun," she writes. She says she''ll instead be pursuing other projects, including an ABC Family movie.

Mowry's Style Network show "Tia & Tamera," on which she stars with her twin sister, returns for its second season on June 11. On Tuesday (May 15) she also released a pregnancy advice book titled "Oh Baby."
