'The Goodwin Games': Scott Foley and Becki Newton compete for $20 million in new FOX comedy

The executive producers of "How I Met Your Mother" are bringing us yet another comedy concept that leads us to ask the question, "Can that really take more than one season to wrap up?" "The Goodwin Games" is a single-camera comedy coming to FOX that tells the story of three grown siblings who return home after their father's death to discover they stand to inherit more than $20 million -- if they take part in a series of unique tasks, including a special game of Trivial Pursuit against one another.

Scott Foley ("Grey's Anatomy," "Felicity") plays Henry, the eldest child and an overachieving surgeon. Becki Newton ("Ugly Betty") is middle sibling Chloe, "the smart one" in the family who now serves shots for a living. And Jake Lacy ("Better With You") plays the youngest sibling, Jimmy, the family screw-up who's just gotten out of jail. Beau Bridges guest-stars as the dad pulling the puppet strings from beyond the grave.

The show looks like it could be pretty funny, and it definitely seems to have a lot of heart -- not to mention a great cast. The comedy is slated for a midseason premiere. Will you watch?
