anne-heche-save-me-getty.jpgWith the upfronts just days away, NBC has announced that it's picked up the Anne Heche comedy "Save Me" for next season.

The Wrap is reporting the Peacock ordered 13 episodes of the comedy about a woman who has a spiritual transformation after her marriage goes bad. The series also features Alex Breckenridge, Heather Burns, Madison Davenport, Michael Landes and Lamman Rucker.

The program will be produced by Sony and Original Film & Television.

The pick up of "Save Me" is just the latest to get the go-ahead from NBC. They've previously announced series plans for the Matthew Perry show "Go On" as well as the drama "Hannibal."

NBC will announce its full Fall 2012 lineup on Sunday (May 13).
