'Homeland': Zuleikha Robinson joins Season 2

zuleikha-robinson-gi.jpgZuleikha Robinson will join Showtime's terror drama "Homeland" for Season 2 in a recurring role as a journalist with ties to a Middle Eastern terrorist, reports Deadline.

As Zap2it reported, the new "Homeland" character is Roya, a sexy journalist with ties to Abu Nazir who will make contact with Brody (Damian Lewis) to convince him to commit another act of treason for the terrorist mastermind.

Robinson is familiar to TV viewers as "Rome's" lusty Gaia and "Lost's" mysterious Ilana Verdansky, who was a de facto henchman for "Other" leader Jacob. Per IMDB, Robinson hasn't been acting since "Lost" wrapped in 2010.

What do you think of the addition of Robinson to the cast? Will the show benefit from a third strong female character? The first two are, of course, Carrie (Claire Danes) and Jess (Morena Baccarin).
