'Fashion Star' winner: Kara Laricks, Ronnie Escalante or Nzimiro Oputa, who took home the prize?

kara-laricks-fashion-star-winner.jpg"Fashion Star" crowned its first winner Tuesday night (May 15) on NBC. After 10 weeks and six sales before the finale, Kara Laricks was crowned the winner. She will have her collection featured in the buyers' stores - H&M, Macy's and Saks Fifth Avenue. In fact, Laricks will be at the Fifth Avenue H&M location Wednesday, May 16 at 10 a.m. ET to officially launch her line. A big congratulations to Kara, especially after being in the Bottom 2 in week one. She's come a long way.

The runner-up was Ronnie Escalante, who made four sales over the course of the season for a grand total of $420,000. Third place went to Nzimiro Oputa, who made five sales for $320,000 total over the season.
