'Dexter' Season 7 adds Jason Gedrick as a gentlemen's club owner

It's about that time of year when Showtime starts announcing "Dexter's" season-long gueststars and it is kicking things off with Jason Gedrick, who will play the manager of a Miami-area gentlemen's club over a multi-episode arc. Said gentlemen's club becomes linked to a high-profile murder case of the Miami Metro Homicide division

On the small screen, Gedrick has previously been seen on "Luck," "Desperate Housewives," "Windfall," "Boomtown" and, in our personal favorite, "Murder One," as young Hollywood star Neil Avedon, on trial throughout the season for the murder of a young girl.

There is no word yet as to the season's "big bad." We aren't sure we see the owner of a strip club as fitting that bill - perhaps Gedrick's character ends up on Dexter's table instead? "Dexter" premieres Sunday, Sept. 30 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Showtime.
