Daniel Radcliffe will turn into Jon Hamm in a British miniseries
Daniel Radcliffe and Jon Hamm are reportedly set to star in a British miniseries -- and they'd be playing the same character. The project for the Sky Arts channel is about Russian doctors in the aftermath of World War I. British tabloid The Sun reports Radcliffe would play a young version of the lead character, and Hamm would play the same man some 20 years later. Hamm would also narrate the untitled miniseries, and The Sun says he "will still interact with his younger self, Daniel, during some of the scenes."
We're not sure whether we're buying this, frankly (though Vulture lends some credence to the report) -- nor do we envision the 40ish version of "Harry Potter" star Radcliffe looking much like Don Draper. We are, however, sort of curious to see how the thing might turn out. Fingers crossed that PBS or BBC America picks up the show for broadcast on these shores.
What do you think of Daniel Radcliffe and Jon Hamm playing different versions of the same character?
