'Californication': Maggie Grace booked for sizable arc

"Californication" has booked former "Lost" star Maggie Grace for a nine-episode arc, this according to TV Line.

Grace will star as Faith, a former Catholic school girl-turned-rock groupie. In the show, she befriends Hank (David Duchovny) and ultimately, as most of his relationships do, it turns into something more.

The sizable arc for Grace is part of a plan to potentially make a spin-off series based around Faith. While nothing is certain, positive feedback around her character and the right circumstances would certainly advance that cause.

"Californication" is set to return to Showtime in 2013.
