TV ratings: 'One Tree Hill' finale gets small bump, 'American Idol' wins for FOX

FOX's "American Idol" garnered an easy win for the network Wednesday, though it was down more than a million viewers in its first hour this week and up a bit in the second. CBS' "Survivor: One World" was up this week as well. Fans said goodbye to The CW's "One Tree Hill" with two hours of programming -- the first being interviews with the cast, which drew 1.37 million viewers, while the finale brought in 1.42 million -- a modest rise for the show.

"Betty White's Off Their Rockers" did A-OK for NBC with 7.2 million viewers -- its follow-up "Best Friends Forever," not so much. ABC's "Happy Endings" exited its second season on a low note with just 3.7 million viewers.

FOX averaged 16.65 million viewers with a 10.0 rating/16 share in households for the night. CBS came in a more distant second at 11.09 million, 7.0/11. Third place went to ABC with 3.85 million, 2.6/4, fourth was NBC with 3.58 million, 2.4/4, and The CW at 1.4 million, 0.9/2.

In the adults 18-49 demographic, FOX won with a 4.7 rating, followed by CBS more distantly (2.8), then ABC (1.3), NBC (1.0) and the CW (0.8).
