The first new "Glee" in close to two months didn't make a very big ratings splash Tuesday, finishing below its last original episode in February. "The Voice" results show, however, improved on its numbers from last week and led NBC to a better showing throughout the night.

Per usual, CBS had the most viewers in primetime, although its dramas came in below their usual numbers. ABC's "Cougar Town" was up in viewers over its last airing three weeks ago, and "New Girl" got a boost among adults 18-49.

CBS scored 13.2 million viewers and a 8.5 rating/13 share in households for the night. ABC came in second with 9.7 million viewers and a 6.4/10. NBC (6.7 million, 4.3/7) took third, beating out FOX (5.65 million, 3.5/5). The CW could only muster just under a million viewers and a 0.7/1.

FOX and NBC each drew a 2.5 rating among adults 18-49 to tie for the lead, with CBS right behind at 2.4. ABC posted a 1.9 in the demographic, and The CW trailed with a 0.4.
