TV Ratings: 'Blue Bloods,' 'CSI: NY' lead CBS to a Friday win

CBS' Friday night lineup, led by "Blue Bloods" with 10.8 million viewers and 6.9 rating/12 share in households handily won the ratings battle. The network's lead was nicely bolstered by good performances from "CSI: NY" (8.9 million, 5.8/10) and "Undercover Boss" (7.8 million, 4.9/9).

CBS averaged 9.1 million viewers with a 5.9 rating/11 share in households for the night. ABC came in a distant second with 4.8 million viewers (3.2/6), followed by NBC (4.3 million, 2.9/5), FOX (3.4 million, 2.2/4) and The CW (921,000, 0.6/1).

CBS also won the adults 18-49 demographic with a 1.7 rating, followed by ABC (1.4), NBC and FOX (each with 1.0) and The CW (0.3). Ratings hour-by-hour:

8 p.m.

CBS:
"Undercover Boss" (7.7 million, 4.9/9)
NBC: "Who Do You Think You Are?" (4.5 million, 3.1/6)
ABC: "Shark Tank" re-run (4.4 million, 2.9/6)
FOX: "The Finder" (3.9 million, 2.4/5)
The CW: "Nikita" re-run (1.1 million, 0.7/1)

18-49 leader: "Undercover Boss" (1.8)

9 p.m.

CBS:
"CSI: NY" (8.9 million, 5.8/10)
ABC: "What Would You Do?" (4.9 million, 3.1/6)
NBC: "Grimm" (4.4 million, 2.8/5)
FOX: "Fringe" (3 million, 1.9/3)
The CW: "Supernatural" re-run (831,000, 0.6/1)

18-49 leader: "CSI: NY"/"What Would You Do" (1.6)

10 p.m.

CBS:
"Blue Bloods" (10.8 million, 6.9/12)
ABC: "20/20" (5.1 million, 3.5/6)
NBC: "Dateline: NBC" (4.0 million, 2.8/5)
