James Van Der Beek's 'Dancing With the Stars' episode of 'Don't Trust the B----- in Apt 23'

James Van Der Beek was a guest at the "Dancing With the Stars" week three elimination show to promote his new series, "Don't Trust the B---- in Apt 23." He hit the press line to chat with us about the upcoming "DWTS" episode.

Van Der Beek, who plays a fictional version of himself in the show says it's going to be pretty outrageous. "Don't watch it. If you don't want to be offended don't watch it," he says. "These characters engage in some pretty crazy behavior but I think at the end of the day they are people you want to hang out with, I think."

Van Der Beek says he would do "Dancing With the Stars," but that "it's a lot more fun the way we did it. This is a lot of work, and these people are going through a lot, man."

He gives us a look at what we're going to see in the dancing episode. "Well the fake me is on the fake 'Dancing With the Stars.' My nemesis is Dean Cain, because he is Superman. How can I dance I against Superman? His partner is Karina (Smirnoff) so I am really nervous. She actually guest stars in it too. My partner is someone we cast, because they did multiple episodes so... It's a lot of fun. Suffice to say my character takes it very seriously - way too seriously!"
