BET's 'Celebration of Gospel' takes viewers to church

The Academy of Country Music Awards wasn't the only music special on the air on Sunday (April 1). BET aired their 12th annual "Celebration of Gospel."

The Steve Harvey-hosted show featured a "Who's Who" of gospel greats including Ricky Dillard & New G, Kirk Franklin and Marvin Sapp. It also offered a few guest stars including Faith Evans and Johnny Gill.

The event even drew "Glee" star Amber Riley. Riley performed during a tribute to Mahilia Jackson alongside Yolanda Adams, Shirley Caesar and Jennifer Holliday.

Riley was impressed with Adams, writing on Twitter, "She is always flawless."
