'American Idol': Jessica Sanchez's 'Stuttering' slays the competition

For Songs from This Decade week on "American Idol," Jessica Sanchez chose "Stuttering" by Jasmine Sullivan, which is not a song we were familiar with before tonight. Usually, choosing a lesser-known song is a bit of a risk for a contestant, but not Jessica. She sang that song like it was her own, totally killed it. It is astounding that she is so young.

Randy summed it up best with, "That was superb. That was at like the highest degree. The control, you scatting and all of this ... you did an amazing job." And Steven was also complimentary. Jennifer weirdly advised her to be as "impactful" as Joshua, though we would argue she has been and more. Joshua's kind of a one-trick pony.

But anyway. Jessica was amazing, as usual. Will she be getting your votes? Don't get complacent, that's how somebody good winds up in the bottom.
