ACM Awards 2012 live wedding while Martina McBride, Pat Monahan sing 'Marry Me'

We say this as big fans of country music, but do the roughly 500 annual country music awards shows need to get any sillier? Apparently, they do.

During the 47th annual Academy of Country Music Awards, Christina Davidson and Frank Tucci were married live on stage while Martina McBride and Pat Monahan of Train sang "Marry Me" in front of the wedding chapel set. The minister's voice faded in and out during the song, and then at the very end, we got to hear Christina and Frank say their "I wills."

It's not as if the song wasn't pretty or the couple doesn't have a great backstory (they met at a widows/widowers support group Christina started after she lost her husband in a drowning accident, while Frank lost his wife to cancer) - the couple seems very sweet and we wish them the best with their blended family. But seriously, that was so weird.
