'Grimm' picked up for second season

Good news for "Grimm" fans. The show has been picked up for a second season, this according to TVLine.

NBC's haunted procedural has performed solidly in its Friday night time slot. The most recent episode drew 5.1 million total viewers, coming in second behind "The Mentalist." It also  performs well in the coveted 18-49 demo, often winning the hour.

The series is produced by Stephen Carpenter, David Greenwalt, Jim Kouf and Sean Hayes.
