'Good Wife': Matthew Perry on his 'strictly sexual' relationship with Alicia Florrick

Matthew Perry and Julianna Margulies, buddies since the days when they were filming "Friends" and "ER" on neighboring sound stages, preview "The Good Wife" episode "Blue Ribbon Panel," in which Perry makes his debut as Mike Kresteva, a returning guest-star who is not the nicest of people.

"We end up on a blue ribbon panel together and they need a woman, they always need the token female. And it's a very male-oriented panel and I come in and that's how we meet. And Mike Kresteva leads this panel," says Margulies. "In Alicia's righteous way, she realizes that it's wrong, what they're doing. They're not really looking at all the facts. Ans she starts to stand up against them."

"A lot of panel members start to see her way and I think that gets his goat a little and he starts to dig in," she finishes.

"And then it just becomes strictly sexual, right after that," deadpans Perry. "85% of the scenes are just that, in my contract."

"That was the surprise!," says Margulies, in on the joke.

But in all seriousness, Perry says he's never played such a horrible character before.

"The character is a bad guy, which is fun to play," he says. "I've never played a guy this mean before."

We can't wait to see it. "The Good Wife" airs Sunday nights at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
