'Glee' casts 'Melrose Place' vet as Puck's dad

"Glee's" Meet the Parents tour is continuing, this time with Mark Salling's Puck.

We'll meet Puck's dad in an upcoming episode (does this mean he'll actually be graduating?), and TVLine reports he'll be played by a familiar face -- well, familiar to primetime soap fans.

Thomas Calabro, who starred as Dr. Michael Mancini on both the regular version and the failed reboot of "Melrose Place," will drop by Lima, Ohio in an April episode. He'll play Puck's estranged dad in the 18th episode of "Glee's" third season.

As TVLine notes, we've met Puck's mom once -- all the way back in Season 1 during the "Mash-Up" episode.

"Glee" is currently on a hiatus while a block of half-hour sitcoms fills its FOX time slot, but will return to the airwaves on April 10.
