TV ratings: 'The Voice' and 'Smash' dip, but NBC still leads Monday

the-voice-feb-13-ratings.jpgFast National ratings for Monday, Feb. 13, 2012

Both "The Voice" and "Smash" fell Monday from their ratings last week -- "Smash" by a lot, dropping a full point among adults 18-49 and more than 3 million viewers. But both shows also led their time periods in the 18-49 demographic, and NBC finished the night on top for the second straight week.

The other networks, however, didn't exactly capitalize on NBC's dip. Viewing was down pretty much across the board Monday, with ABC, CBS and FOX all coming in lower than they did last week.

NBC drew 13.4 million viewers and a 7.9 rating/12 share in households for the night to lead CBS (10.3 million, 6.5/10) by a comfortable margin. ABC (8.3 million, 5.4/8) came in third. FOX was fourth with 6.7 million viewers and a 4.1/6, while The CW (1.4 million, 0.9/1) was pretty much even with its performance last Monday.

NBC's lead among adults 18-49 was a little bit wider: It scored a 4.9 rating for the night, almost 50 percent better than CBS' 3.3. ABC finished third at 2.3, followed by FOX, 2.1, and The CW, 0.6.
