'True Blood': 'Spartacus: Vengeance' star Peter Mensah joins the cast

Talk about awesome worlds colliding! "Spartacus: Vengeance" star Peter Mensah has just been cast in "True Blood," according to Deadline. We fell in love with Mensah as the incredibly powerful, yet ultimately soft-hearted Oenomaus, Doctore of the Batiatus ludus in "Spartacus." We were blown away by his muscles. Seriously. Look at the picture.Now we're going to see Mensah in good ole Bon Temps. Mensah will be playing Kibwe, Chancellor for the Authority. Originally from Africa, Kibwe works toward mainstreaming under Roman's tenure.
Mensah has also been seen in "300," "Tears of the Sun," "Hidalgo" and "Avatar." His television credits include "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles," "Witchblade" and "Star Trek: Enterprise."
