'Spartacus: Vengeance': Oenomaus' backstory -- What did you think?
One of the most popular characters in the "Spartacus" universe is undoubtedly Oenomaus (Peter Mensah), who, until recently was the Doctore of the Batiatus ludus. We learned how he lost his wife Melitta (Marisa Ramirez) and the secret she and Gannicus (Dustin Clare) shared. In "A Place In This World," we get a look at the history of Oenomaus and his rise from The Pits to Doctore of House Batiatus. We thought it was fantastic and when we spoke to show runner Steven DeKnight, he told us that he was thrilled to be able to explore his back story at long last.
We also love the story line with Lucy Lawless' Lucretia, who's insanity and seemingly god-touched mentality is probably a ruse. (Check out our interview with her here.) The sacrifice scene was fantastic. We'd love to hear what you think? Were you blown away by Crixus (Manu Bennett) and his interrogation of the local Dominus? How are you feeling about Liam McIntyre? Do you love Oenomaus as much as we do? And Asher (Nick Tarabay) ... we can't get enough of him! Sound off below!
