'Seinfeld's' Soup Nazi Super Bowl ad for the Acura NSX
First Ferris Bueller, now the Soup Nazi. The 2012 Super Bowl ads are really going for the nostalgia factor.
In this latest Super Bowl ad offering, Jerry Seinfeld wants to buy the new Acura NSX, but he's number two on the waiting list. So he calls in a bunch of favors in order to move up, including calling on his old nemesis the Soup Nazi (Larry Thomas).
Thomas actually only appeared in two "Seinfeld" episodes - the one titled "The Soup Nazi" and the series finale. But he created one of the most memorable characters and in fact has used the character to help promote soup kitchens.
We have to say - these ads are fun and all, but we're pretty disappointed about them all being released early. Why can't they call just wait until, ya know, the actual Super Bowl?
