'NYC 22' gets 'CSI: Miami's' spot on CBS starting in April

nyc-22-cbs.jpgCBS has found a home for its lone midseason drama, "NYC 22," on Sunday nights in the spring.

The show about rookie cops will premiere at 10 p.m. ET Sunday, April 15 in the spot now occupied by "CSI: Miami." The latter show will have finished its season by then.

Richard Price ("The Wire," "Clockers") created the series, which follows a group of rookie cops -- some born into the job, others switching careers -- who land patrol jobs in upper Manhattan. Robert De Niro is among the executive producers.
