Grammys 2012: Kelly Clarkson, Jason Aldean power through audio troubles
We hope whomever is working the sound board at the 2012 Grammy Awards figures out what's up. During Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson's performance of their big 2012 hit duet "Don't You Wanna Stay," there were some issues.Kelly's microphone wasn't on at the beginning, then all throughout the performance it sounded (to us at least) like the levels were off because the backup band's instrumentals were really drowning out the vocals. And it's not like Clarkson can't belt it out. Then right at the end, Aldean could be seen fumbling around for his mic pack because he was no longer on for the tag after the last chorus.
Bummer. But we still love this song with all our hearts. It was one of our favorites from 2012. Video below, though you might be better off watching video of another live performance if you really want to hear the song properly.
