Giancarlo Esposito joins J.J. Abrams drama pilot 'Revolution'

"Breaking Bad" star Giancarlo Esposito is joining J.J. Abrams drama pilot "Revolution" for NBC. Recognize him from somewhere else? Yup! He's also Sidney Glass/the Genie/Magic Mirror on ABC's "Once Upon a Time."

"Revolution," which also has "Supernatural" creator Eric Kripke on board is described as an intense action drama which looks at a group of people trying to find their loved ones and stay alive in a world where there are no longer any forms of energy.

Esposito will play Captain Nevile, who is described as a "hard-as-steel military man with a genteel southern manner who may not always be what he seems." Even cooler? Jon Favreau will be directing the pilot.
