'American Idol': Creighton Fraker's 'True Colors' shine through
For the Top 13 boys on "American Idol," Creighton Fraker took on Cyndi Lauper's hit from the 1980s, "True Colors" and gave us the first real "moment" of the night, we thought.
He was tender in spots, he growled in some places that were unexpected, and he made some lovely changes to the melody. The judges were similarly complimentary. Steven Tyler called it "stupendous" and we don't disagree.
We could've done without the crazy '70s rainbow background, but overall, we really liked it. What did you think, "American Idol" fans? Does Creighton have your vote?
