'X Factor': Nicole Scherzinger not returning as a judge

"The X Factor" has folks leaving it like rats off a sinking ship Monday (Jan. 30). First the news broke that host Steve Jones would be leaving - it was actually announced by Jones himself on Twitter.

Now Nicole Scherzinger is out, FOX confirms to Zap2it. And lest you get any ideas that she's stepping out from behind the judges table to take over hosting duties, that is incorrect. She is gone completely from the show, FOX tells us.

So what do you think, "X Factor" fans? We aren't too sad to see Steve Jones go. He seems like a great guy, but he wasn't a great host of the show. As far as Scherzinger goes, she wasn't a terrible judge, but we're also not quite over what she did to Rachel Crow.
