'Two and a Half Men' star: I miss Charlie Sheen

While her job is to act completely disinterested toward her TV family on "Two and a Half Men," Holland Taylor is the exact opposite in real life. This is even the case toward her troubled "child" Charlie Sheen.

"I miss Charlie very much," Taylor tells The Advocate. "I think of Charlie and Jon [Cryer] and Angus [T. Jones] as family, and I sort of feel very familial toward them."

This is not to say that she's upset with Sheen's replacement Ashton Kutcher. In fact, she praises him, saying that their comedic interplay works so well that she says a future episode "may knock a few people's socks off."

But still Taylor misses her Charlie. And she's not afraid to say it despite Sheen's messy separation from the CBS comedy.

"The fact that Ashton is really wonderful and inventive and a delightful person takes away nothing from the fact that Charlie was those things as well and I miss him," she says.

What a mom!
