TV Ratings: CBS repeats win Friday over 'Shark Tank' debut

Despite solid efforts from ABC and NBC to dethrone CBS as the leader on Friday nights, a night of repeats ("A Gifted Man," "CSI: NY," "Blue Bloods") on the network managed to come out on top. The season premiere of "Shark Tank" on ABC didn't do too poorly though, and both "Chuck" and "Grimm" managed up their numbers for the week on NBC.

Around 7.5 million viewers tuned into CBS Friday night for a 4.9 rating/8 share in households. ABC came in a close(ish) second with 6.4 million viewers (4.1/7), NBC right behind third with 5.1 million viewers (3.1/5), and FOX nabbed 3.5 million viewers (2.1/4) while The CW brought up the rear with just 843,00 viewers (0.5/1).

In the adults 18-49 demographic, though, ABC managed to come out on top with a 1.7, followed by NBC with a 1.4, FOX with a 1.3, CBS with a 1.1 and The CW with 0.3.
