'The Walking Dead': Midseason poster unveiled -- Rick Grimes, straight shooter

Lest we forget what "The Walking Dead" is about, look no further than the show's midseason poster -- which AMC debuted online Friday (Jan. 13). It depicts just Sheriff Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and his gun, pointed straight at the viewer. So, you know, it's about Rick and where he aims that gun.

At the end of midseason finale that gun was aimed squarely at Sophia -- the pre-teen zombie version -- and he quickly dispatched her in full view of her mother and his own son.

When the show returns from its winter hiatus on February 12, we'll get to find out what happens next. We have a feeling it'll involve leaving the relative safety Hershel's farm.

More will likely be revealed at Saturday's Television Critics Association winter press tour presentation. We'll update you as soon as we get the scoop.
