'Switched at Birth' first look: Sean Berdy and Vanessa Marano go planking

Who doesn't love a good planking party?

In next week's episode of "Switched at Birth," Emmet (Sean Berdy) and Bay (Vanessa Marano), who dealt with some heavy relationship drama in the premiere episode, decide to ditch the drama in favor of a little lighthearted fun, for once. So, naturally, they run around town taking photos of themselves planking.

Zap2it has your first look at some of the fun pics. We're so glad to see these two just having a good time together -- even if they are participating in the most ridiculous trend ever.

Berdy tells us that while it may look like a blast (kind of?), planking is tougher than it looks.
"I never expected the huge amount of soreness," he says. He does admit that the stares from passersby were the best part. "Planking is not as easy as you think, but it was very addicting to do in public! I liked the fun attention from the people when planking."

Marano dishes that the shoot had some added authenticity -- the actors even got into a little bit of trouble! "It was fun. Members of our crew were all running around in different areas of Santa Clarita getting pictures of the planking. A security guard kicked us out of a parking lot."
