'Sex and the City' prequel, 'Green Arrow' pilot ordered at The CW

sex-and-the-city-2-320.jpgWhat's old is new again on The CW. The network just green lit three shows to pilot and each one of them is based on a pre-existing property.

Perhaps the highest profile of these is "The Carrie Diaries," which comes from "Sex and the City" author Candace Bushnell. The show will follow a young Carrie Bradshaw coming of age in the 1980s. The pilot for the prequel was written by Amy Harris, a producer on the original series. "Gossip Girl" EPs Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage will be on hand to produce.

The network also confirmed what many people had suspected, that they've ordered a pilot for the DC Comics hero Green Arrow. The show, which will be called "Arrow," sadly will not feature Justin Hartley who played the character on "Smallville."

And the last show the network picked up to pilot is "Beauty and the Beast." The show will be loosely based on the CBS series from the late 1980s which starred Linda Hamilton and Ron Perlman. It's being touted as a "modern day romantic love story with a procedural twist."

So Zappers, which of these would you most like to see?
