'Pretty Little Liars': 'Psycho' coming to Rosewood
"Pretty Little Liars" started a rather awesome tradition at the end of Season 1 of doing an homage to legendary director Alfred Hitchcock in each season finale. Zap2it spoke with executive producer Marlene King Thursday (Jan. 5) about the back half of Season 2 and she divulged to us the Hitchcock movie on tap for the second season finale."Psycho." "It's a lot of fun," says King. "We had a lot of fun with it. Lesli Glatter, who directed the pilot and the Season 1 finale, also directed our Season 2 finale. She's such a cinematic filmmaker and we just had so much fun with this one."
When we joked with Marlene that we hope no one dies in the shower, like Janet Leigh famously did in the 1960 horror classic, King does tease a few details.
"There is a shower scene, I'll tell you that," says King. "At a creepy motel."
King also confirms that we will discover the identity of "the 'A' that has been torturing the girls for the last two years."
We can't wait. Look for more juicy tidbits about the season from Marlene King in another interview on Monday, Jan. 9. "Pretty Little Liars" airs Monday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC Family.
