'Parks and Recreation' books Sean Hayes to interview Leslie

sean-hayes-nov-2011-gi.jpgSean Hayes will help Leslie Knope get her city council campaign back on track on "Parks and Recreation." Maybe.

The former "Will & Grace" star (and executive producer of NBC's "Grimm") will join the "Parks and Rec" crew for an episode set to air in the spring, TVLine reports. He'll play a well-known TV journalist from Indianapolis who interviews Leslie (Amy Poehler) about her campaign.

Leslie, of course, is hoping that she'll get a boost in the polls. We're guessing it might not go down exactly that way.

Hayes is the second "Will & Grace" cast member to appear on "Parks and Rec." His former partner in comedy, Megan Mullally, has made several appearances on the show as Ron's (Nick Offerman) ex-wife Tammy.

Hayes stars as Larry Fine in "The Three Stooges" movie that's due for release in April, and he's also attached to star in a comedy pilot in development at NBC.
