'Law & Order: SVU' sneak peek: Harry Connick Jr. debuts as David Haden
Harry Connick Jr. begins his four-episode arc on "Law & Order: SVU" on Wednesday (Jan. 18). And while we know he's going to develop some chemistry with Benson (Mariska Hargitay), the relationship is off to a rough start.
In a sneak preview clip of the long-running series, Connick's character, executive ADA David Haden, is brought in to help Benson and Amaro (Danny Pino) deal with a kidnapping case. This is met with suspicion by the two cops. But Captain Donald Cragen (Dann Florek) urges the two to tread lightly.
Connick has said that he's enjoying his role on "SVU." At the recent Television Critics Association press tour he says he likes the part because "I get to talk like an educated person."
The show airs at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.
