'Grey's Anatomy' and 'Private Practice' plan more crossover episodes
The intertwined worlds of Seattle Grace and Oceanside Health & Wellness will merge once again when "Grey's Anatomy" and "Private Practice" both stage new crossover episodes.
According to TV Guide, in addition to Kate Walsh returning to "Grey's" for an alternate-reality episode called "If/Then," in which Ellis Grey is still alive and Addison and Derek (Patrick Dempsey) are still married, "Private Practice" will get in on the action with an Amelia-centric episode that sees Caterina Scorsone traveling to Seattle. Derek and Lexi will also appear in the hour, which is scheduled for February sweeps.
The last "Grey's"/"PP" crossover event also featured Amelia trying to reconcile with her brother, but considering she's on the path to recovery now, we have a feeling this one might go better. As for the alternate reality "Grey's," though, we have no idea what to expect.
Both shows return to ABC's lineup on Thursday, Jan. 5.
