TLC's 'D.U.I.' exclusive sneak peek: Jarrett fears for his basketball scholarship

TLC's new reality series, "D.U.I.," doesn't have the trainwreck factor of its recent special, "Virgin Diaries." While the latter show had that "watch through your fingers and cringe" kind of charm, "D.U.I." is just plain serious. It's more in the vein of an "Intervention" than anything lighthearted.The show introduces us Oklahoma residents as they're pulled over by cops for suspicion of driving under the influence, then follows them through the booking, jail, and sentencing processes as they reflect on the consequences of their actions.
In Zap2it's exclusive sneak peek at tonight's episode (Dec. 8), college basketball player Jarrett, who is underage, worries that his DUI arrest will mean he'll lose his scholarship -- a real possibility. Check out the video below. "D.U.I." airs Thursday nights at 9 and 9:30 p.m. on TLC.
