'The Bachelor' has 'drama and tears,' says host Chris Harrison

ben-flajnik-bachelor.jpg"The Bachelor" premiere with winemaker Ben Flajnik is right around the corner. Ben was famously dumped by Ashley Hebert on "The Bachelorette" after he proposed - and he did not take it well. Host Chris Harrison tells Access Hollywood that's what we can look forward to on Ben's upcoming season.

"We've wrapped production. Ben was fantastic," says Harrison. "We all got to know and love him during Ashley's season. I think the way he took the rejection of that proposal ... he reacted like a normal guy - ;This isn't good, you just dumped me and I just proposed to you.' It's that kind of honesty and heart-on-his-sleeve mentality the way he goes through being the Bachelor."

Harrison also says the hallmarks of a great "Bachelor" season are there as well.

"The girls are dynamic and fantastic and yes, there's drama and tears. All the great trappings that make 'The Bachelor,'" says Harrison.

We can hardly wait. "The Bachelor" premieres Monday, Jan. 2 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
