Matthew McConaughey engaged to Camila Alves: She said yes!

Add Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves to the list of people who put a ring on it for Christmas! McConaughey announced his engagement to longtime love Camila Alves via his Twitter account on Sunday, Dec. 25.

"Just asked Camila to marry me, #MerryChristmas," he tweeted.

The couple lives in Austin with their three-year-old son Levi and their two-year-old daughter Vida. Alves, a model, also designs handbags and served as host of Season 3 of Bravo's "Shear Genius" hair styling competition show.

McConaughey and Alves met in 2006 in a bar. "I found the woman... I wanna make a family with, hopefully live our life out together," McConaughey recently told Esquire magazine.
